ABOUT HIFFEST
HighScope Film Festival (HiFFest) is the first short film festival for middle school students in Indonesia organized by the HighScope Middle School student council. HiFFest has been held annually at Sekolah HighScope Indonesia since 2005. Each year, HiFFest brings different themes for participants to develop and express their ideas through short movies.
HiFFest gives middle school students an opportunity to experience the process of filmmaking and nurtures young filmmakers and their community. Middle school students can develop skills and creativity through HiFFest. In addition to filmmaking, HiFFest also helps middle school students to practice their teamwork, discipline, and leadership skills.

Movie Workshop: A master class that aims to develop talent, potential and creativity led by film practitioners. There are 4 classes in the movie workshop:

Screening: Screening of all films submitted to select the ones that qualify for awarding day.

Awarding Day: The final day of HiFFest 2019 where the films that pass the screening are watched and commented on by the judges. Participants will receive awards according to the judges’ decision at the end of the awarding day. The awarding day is open to the public and tickets are available on the spot.
